Challenge
Omlet wanted to host a webinar to support their August comms story on how to raise chicks in the fall.
I was tasked with bringing a webinar from idea to action.

Action
I wanted to offer some real value to our audience with nothing asked in return.
In order to do this, I outsourced the expertise, and contacted Meyer Hatchery, a well regarded US based chick hatchery which supplies chicken breeds to keepers.
Meyer were naturally the best voice to answer my questions and so I set to work researching and planning the following:
- The best questions that will get a great response from Meyer Hatchery, and in return provide incredible value to our audience.
- A platform where we could both stream to Facebook, while saving a recording for use on other platforms.
- Email communications to excite our audience about the upcoming webinar.
- Social media graphics, both for Omlet to use, but also Meyer Hatchery to post on their socials.
- A CTA for our audience which included a generous discount for anyone who was inspired to start chicken keeping on the back of the webinar.
- A professional live setup, complete with backdrop, props, and in-recording support from one of our apprentices.
- A freshly ironed Omlet T-shirt for brand coherency.
The result was a well executed webinar with a long list of questions from our audience and great feedback by email a day later.
